Every earring we make is solid gold — 10k, 14k or 18k, never plated, never filled. That matters more than it sounds: plated earrings wear through against the skin, and the base metal underneath is what causes most reactions to jewelry.

Finding the right size

For a baby or a first piercing, 3mm to 4mm studs sit flat and have nothing to catch on a blanket. Around 5mm the earring starts to be visible across a room. At 7mm it becomes the thing people notice. Our drop and hook styles run from 10mm to 42mm, depending on how much movement you want.

Backs and closures

Push backs hold firmly and are the safest choice for children. Butterfly backs go on and off faster, which suits earrings you change often. We sell both as replacements in solid gold, so a lost back never forces you to retire the pair.

Made in Brazil

Our workshop is in Brazil, where the founder's grandfather worked gold in São Paulo. Pieces ship from Miami, usually within two business days, and arrive in a gift box.
